Brownwood Parking

IMPORTANT: Read all details below the map prior to your arrival on January 10th.

1. Meet us at the parking area in Brownwood Paddock Square at the very back behind the Sales Office near the Trillium Rec Center and The Lofts Apartments. See MAP above.

2. Parking passes will be distributed in the parking lot, prior to departure.  If you did NOT provide your vehicle info, you cannot park overnight and you will be towed away.  The parking passes are for individually named vehicles (not generic) and have already been submitted. If you need to park here and haven't already told me, do so ASAP so that we can attempt to get an additional pass.

3. Please drop your luggage outside the bus with skiis on one end and bags on the other. We will load the bags for you to ensure an efficient process.

4. The bus leaves the parking lot at 6:45am SHARP (with or without you), so arrive no later than 6:30am so that we can get parking situated and everything loaded onto the bus. If you haven't received your trip gift yet, please pick it up at this time.

5. The Workman bus will take us to the airport to arrive by 8:00am and drop us off on the lower Level 1 between spots A5 thru A9. We’ll have to carry our luggage upstairs (escalator or elevator).

6. Once at the airport – go to the Southwest Kiosk and enter your confirmation # 4KHJG3 and select JUST YOUR NAME (not all) from the list presented.  You can then print out your necessary baggage tags and your boarding passes (if you’re not using the SWA Mobile App). If you are bringing skiis, go to oversized luggage drop first.

Important – check your boarding passes.  If you have a KTN or TSA Security Number and don’t get TSA-Precheck on your boarding ticket, go to the Southwest Ticket Counter to have it added/fixed.

7. Luggage Info (no difference for group, same as what’s on Southwest web page):

  • Free: one personal item that goes under your seat & one carry-on measuring no more than 24” x 16” x 10” including handles/wheels that goes in the overhead.
  • We will get 2 free bags checked! If you have more than that, you brought too much and are on your own! The weight limit is 50 pounds (and $150 for over this weight).
  • A ski bag and separate boot bag count as one bag as long as the combined weight is under 50lbs. A boot bag without a ski bag is considered a piece of normal luggage.
  • If you check a 3rd bag – it’s $150!
  • Name, address & phone number must be on the outside of all bags.

8. We have a 1 hour and 25 min layover at Denver International Airport.  You should consider getting food here if you didn’t bring a lunch with you (it’ll be noonish our time). Please be quick about it especially if we arrive later than planned.

9. Once we arrive at Salt Lake City Airport, you are each responsible to pick up your luggage.  It is impossible to estimate how long this will take. Use the bathroom prior to boarding the bus.

10. Don’t leave the luggage area. Try to stay in a group until Amy has connected with the bus driver and can tell all of you where to go.

11. The bus will drive us the approximate 45 minute trip to The Silverado Lodge and we will be stopping for a SHORT grocery store run.  Please make sure you have a list ready and we recommend that only 1 or 2 people  from each room/condo goes in.  We will only have 30 minutes, else be charged extra. Get an Ikea bag from Amy and pick up an extra paper luggage tag at the airport to tag your groceries.
